I can officially announce that my brand new blog is now up and running.

This blog will still open for future reference for clients and there will be a link in my new blog to still be able to find this one.

I hope you enjoy the new look blog, its been many hours getting it designed and a couple of 2am bed times for me but its ready to go now.

Awaiting a new arrival.....

Today I caught up with a friend of mine who is due in approx 2 weeks. I was thrilled to squeeze in another maternity session with her before her little bundle is due.

Here are a few from the session, this first one is my favourite.

A guardian Angel.........

This beautiful little baby not only has a big brother but also a big sister, she's a beautiful Angel in heaven and will most certainly be her baby sister's Guardian Angel!


Another photo with special meaning, This is Michelle's birthing necklace, made for her by her guests at her blessingway, each guest brought a bead to add to the necklace. It's beautiful and colourful.

Another beautiful statue in Michelle's collection, this one is mother and baby.

A NEW WEBSITE

I will be busy this coming week working on my new look website. There will also be a slight change to the web address that will be activated when the website is ready. Basically you will add .au at the end of my current website address http://www.sweetbluephotography.com/

I will keep you posted here when I will be launching my new look website! There will also be some added extra's for clients who book with me for the month of October!

Can you believe its October!!! I have extended my special offer of a half price sitting fee. You can have a 2 hour photography session with me for $50. A great time to think about some Christmas gifts for relatives and friends, wonderful memories captured of your children/family.

It's school holidays!

It's school holidays, and a place I take the kids often is the nearby reserve to feed the ducks. It just turns out lots of other parents had the same idea and the ducks werent very hungry. And ofcourse I just so happened to have my camera on me....surprise surprise :) So here are some of my fave shots I took of the girls thisafternoon.

Fancy Hair.

My sister lent me her 3 barrel hair curler. When I explained to Carlie what it does she asked for some fancy hair that Aunty Becka has. So here she is showing off her fancy hair :)

Mini session.

I had so much fun with this mini shoot of my friends little girl. She's almost 2 and she was pretty easy to get a smile from. Her mum and I have known each other for over 25 years (sounds scary hey Tina LOL) we used to go to primary school together in the 80s. Her big brother also was happy to sit for photos. Looking foward to doing a proper shoot with them all.

Smile Photography Competition - update

Thisafternoon I got a phone call from Centro in regards to my entries at St Agnes Shopping Centre Centro store (I had 2 entries as finalist photos). They announced today that I was the local winner of the St Agnest store with this photo of Carlie below. I have won a sony camera and printer dock. There will be a local winner sticker on the photo as from thisafternoon!!


There are a total of 62 local winners around Australia out of 40,000 entries this year. So I'm pretty excited to be one of the local winners.

We are having a girl!

I had my 19 week scan yesterday! Sonographer couldn't see any 'boy bits' so assumes it has to be a girl! And here are my 4 after school yesterday celebrating with their pink balloons! Now to come up with girls names.
